Hello everyone! Hope things have been good with you all.

Today has been quite a successful day in terms of revision but I really only did maths. I did a tiny bit of biology for a while but it was not even remotely enough and I haven’t managed to finish anything for my component 1 notes. However, in terms of maths, I have been doing C2 all day and managed to do a wide variety of past paper questions as well as a few full past papers. I’ve been trying to find the hardest questions for each topic and attempting them, which has been good because I’ve made and corrected some key mistakes so hopefully I don’t make them again.

I went to the library for most of the day too, which was actually so lovely and I can’t wait for study leave so I can spend all my days at the library, working away. I never get any work done at home and being able to sit for hours in peace without getting too distracted is such a nice change for me. I was very tempted not to go this morning though, because I woke up super late and I wasn’t feeling such a long journey, but I’m so glad I did because I wouldn’t have gotten nearly as much work done at home.

So tomorrow is my C2 mock which I’m hoping and praying goes well because I have done so much work on it. I also kind of feel like today and yesterday have really solidified C2 for me, so I don’t think I’ll need to do a huge amount before the exam as long as I can get some periodic revision of it in the weeks leading up to the exam. The mock is in the afternoon though, which is frustrating because I would rather have it over with in the morning, but at least I can sleep in nice and late tomorrow morning and get to college early so I can do some more revision.

I have a feeling I won’t get much other work done tomorrow though, because after my exam me and my friend are going out to eat, which will be a nice catch-up for us after this week of exams. Also going out tomorrow means that I can spend Saturday at the library again and get more revision done.

My study goals for tomorrow are:
– Revise for maths a bit before the exam
– Continue biology notes when I get back home
– Have a look through all my French resources and practice some speaking cards out loud

I have to constantly remind myself that I have a speaking exam in approximately one week and I haven’t done enough practice for it! So tomorrow I aim to take a couple of random questions and try and rope my brother into helping me practice. Our teacher recommended that we practise saying our answers aloud and in front of a mirror which I’ve not actually tried yet, but it sounds like it’ll be a lot of fun so I will have a go at that.

There’s not much else to update you guys on, unfortunately. Ramadan is starting super soon, which is very exciting as it’s always a time of the year that I look forward to so much, despite it falling in exam season. I have printed out my exam timetable and stuck it above my desk so whenever my mind starts to stray, I can look over and remind myself that I should really stay focused.

I am dreading next week in college mostly because I just don’t want any mock exam results back but at least we only have a few weeks left. In fact, I think we only have 4 weeks of college left until half term and ultimately, study leave. Wow, college has flown by so quickly, I cannot believe I’m leaving already. I’m glad though, because I don’t feel any kind of emotional attachment to college and even though I’ve met some amazing, wonderful individuals, I feel like the concept of college by itself just conjures up zero feelings in me. Maybe because I have started to associate it so strongly with stress and dread.

That’s it from me, I hope you guys are keeping healthy and enjoying your lives. I will speak to you all tomorrow!
